Bronze is a copper-tin alloy. It was used to build tools, weapons, armor and utensils particulary in the Bronze Age which was named after it. In order to receive an even harder alloy often  arsenic was added to the other metal  compounds. Bronze is more durable and easily castable. Furthermore, it was always used in coining (coins and medals), electronics, construction of naval ship parts of manufactured artworks. As a matter of fact, bronze is used for cast bronze sculpture because it has the property to expand slightly just before it sets, thus filling in every detail of the mould.
